It’s always a joy to see others’ still lifes of Lost Quarry sculptures , the way they’re placed, lit, and loved makes them feel whole, alive, complete. The other day, a friend asked if I had an artist pass for @themuseumofmodernart New works presented by @wildmindedworld through this weekend. SEAMED TOGETHER A SHOPPING + ART EXPERIENCE OCTOBER 10-19 @asevernyc @camillebecerra @_francescawade_ @flowerpsychos @ldbastudio @lindseydtaylor @lostquarry @lovelambny @_tenant Inspired by flowers, I keep dreaming of looking out my bedroom window in spring to a wild field in bloom. After weeks of filling shopping carts with bulbs waiting to be planted, I finally placed my orders. Soon, parrot tulips, checkered fritillaria, Playing with new colors on classic Lost Quarry vessels, layering hues like memories, building an archive of tones born from moments. Each shade holds a story, each combination a new rhythm. If you’re dreaming of a custom color to bring warmth t I wish I’d been a better math student. Oh, the pattern making and geometry that went into this totem. What an honor to create this piece for @les.collection and her lake house.
